Los Angeles Art show
LA convention center Feb. 2025

This March I attended the Armory, Independent, Scope, Art on paper and Spring Break art show. They all had amazing displays of art, from typical to the totally unusual. Her is a sample of what I saw, you can be the judge yourself.

This show was amazing but the weather in Miami was not helpful. Rainy and what not.  The art was amazing but the crowds were missing, which is not bad for me but not so good for the fair. I am sure the rain had to do with it. Here are some images enjoy.

Last week I attended Frieze and Context art fairs in New York. Both had some amazing pieces that I had never seen before. No repetitions here. Usually you see repeats from art fair to art fair. Bur not here.

From the oversize Vandal Gummies by WhisBE at Context; so refreshing to paintings by Jannis Varelas at Frieze. Here are some photos. Hope you enjoy them as I did. Its not the same try to be there next year. Cheers.

From March 1st to 5th I visited a collection of art fairs in New York.  First was The Armory; Extremely busy, never had I seen it like this. Checked out Art on Paper at pier 36 which is always filled with great galleries and art work. Volta, Independent, NADA and Scope all are inspiring and filled with great works to be seen. And they will not disappoint. I checked Spring Break art show which this year was held at the old Conde-Naste building in Times square.  This show always has great surprises which will take your breath away.  I have included a number of photos from all the shows.

I attended the Zona Maco and the Material art fair in Mexico City for the first time and I am glad I did. Besides the horrific traffic everything else is amazing, from people to the art to the amazing museums. The architecture is not too shabby either. Make sure to stay at a hotel close to where you are going to be visiting. This will help a lot and save many hours of sitting in the Uber or Taxi. Enjoy the few photos that I have taken.
Here are a few photos from my adventure.

Last night I visited ALAC 2017 at Santa Monica Barker Hangar. It was a cold night however the art displayed was inspiring. Check out the photos in the gallery and make sure to visit this show if you have time in the next couple of days since its open till Sunday.

Here are some images from my visit - JIMON

This years LA Art fair definitely surprised me in a very good way. Well done to the people in charge. I had skipped this show for the past few years. But this year I truly enjoyed it. Everyone must visit before the doors are closed.
